The Position
As a UI/UX Designer at MakerStudio, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the overall user experience and interface design of our software products. Collaborating closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other cross-functional teams, you'll translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing designs. Your focus will be on creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that enhance usability and drive user engagement. From conducting user research and gathering feedback to iterating on designs based on user testing, you'll ensure that our products deliver a seamless and delightful user experience. We're looking for designers who are passionate about user-centric design, who possess a keen eye for detail, and who thrive in a collaborative environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define the overall look and feel of our web application.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate design concepts and user flows.
- Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on designs based on usability testing.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Maintain consistency in design elements and ensure adherence to brand guidelines throughout the product.
